Sacramento CA — The East Bay Clean Cities Coalition presented Golden Gate Petroleum with its Clean Air Champion Award in recognition for Golden Gate’s superior achievement and sustained excellence in the alternative fuel industry and for its “…significant and innovative contributions towards reducing petroleum consumption and advancing the use of alternative fuel …throughout the greater Northern California Bay Area region.”
“We are proud to be honored with this prestigious award. We firmly believe that with a continued understanding of how easy it is for fleets to switch to NEXDIESEL Renewable Diesel, a ‘drop-in’ fuel for diesel-powered engines without engine modifications, the end result for a greener, cleaner world is here,” said Pat O’Keefe, vice president, Golden Gate Petroleum, who accepted the award at the East Bay Clean Cities Coalition’s annual Clean Tech Forum.
The East Bay Cities Coalition is an all-volunteer non-profit organization representing Alameda County, Contra Costa County and parts of Solano County, with plans to expand to Sonoma and Napa Counties. Clean Cities is dedicated to replacing, reducing and eliminating petroleum consumption while lessening the country’s dependence on imported petroleum products.
